The qualified employees of the Cancer Information Service of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and the German Cancer Aid's INFONETZ KREBS also offer a wide range of information and advice on all matters relating to cancer, including cancer prevention.

Both the Cancer Information Service of the DKFZ and the INFONETZ KREBS of the German Cancer Aid offer you a wide range of information and comprehensive advice on cancer and cancer prevention with their extensive expertise. Both complement the services offered by the prevention outpatient clinic and also provide support.

The Cancer Information Service of the DKFZ is the central point of contact for anyone with questions about cancer. It provides understandable, up-to-date and scientifically based information on the entire spectrum of oncology. By phone and email, the Cancer Information Service's physicians answer questions from cancer patients, their relatives and professionals in a personalized and empathetic manner, for example about cancer diagnosis and treatment, living with the disease, cancer research and suitable contacts. Those seeking advice on cancer prevention and early detection can also contact the service. The website also provides information on frequently asked questions, as well as brochures and other information material. The Cancer Information Service is publicly funded.
