Advanced training for prevention experts
The advanced training of prevention experts is of particular importance for strengthening prevention in Germany. These specialists should advise citizens individually and support them in implementing preventive measures. As cancer is partly based on the same risk factors as other diseases (e.g. diabetes, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases), we will work together with renowned institutions that specialize in preventive medicine in other areas to establish missing job profiles and open up new career paths. In the long term, this will enable us to establish a comprehensive training program for preventive medicine in Germany. Our aim is also to develop recognized advanced training modules for various academic and non-academic professional groups together with partners such as authorities, chambers and associations.
